14-Year-Old Player Makes History With The Carolina Ascent Women’s Professional Soccer Team
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Carolina Ascent are undefeated on the season thanks to a group of veterans and a 14-year-old who made history. Stella Spencer entered the game for the Carolina Ascent against Brooklyn and became the youngest to ever play in a game of the USL Super League.
This teen was born in Columbus, Ohio then moved to Dallas, Texas before heading to Charlotte. She started playing soccer at the age of four and has put in the work. Her grit, determination and hard work paid off as she is now in the record books.
