Behind The Scenes At The 2nd Annual Jumpman Invitational

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Jumpman Invitational is only in year two, but’s it has already become a player favorite for all the right reasons.

From the hospitality lounge to the Jordan Brand custom swag, players say the experience has been like no other.

Tar Heels Forward Jae’Lyn Withers says he has been pleasantly surprised. “This experience is way different from a lot of other experiences I’ve had since I’ve been in college. Walked into the room, had exclusive Jordan gear. It’s surreal to me.”

Tar Heels freshman Harrison Ingram was blown away from the moment he arrived. “For me, I really don’t know what’s going on. We walked in the room, there’s all this stuff on the table. They told us we’re going to a team meeting, then all of a sudden A-Boogie comes out. And we were like what is going on?!”

The elite experience is intentional and exclusive according to Miller Yoho, The Charlotte Sports Foundation’s Director of Communications and Marketing.

“From the beginning it was all about creating an experience that was second to none to players. From the moment they arrive to the gifting to the player experience to what you see here in the lounge, this is built for them to let their hair down, spend time together and really embrace being part of the Jordan family.”

The Charlotte Sports Foundation has made the fan experience a priority as well.

From custom edits to in-game giveaways the Jumpman Invitational is where college basketball fans want to be.
