The Providence Tennis Team Looks Ahead To Their Road To Redemption
All across the Queen City High school sports are coming to a close. Conference tournaments are just around the corner for the Providence Panthers men’s tennis team. They finish their season with a perfect 12-0 record in their conference. Last year, the Panthers fell just short of a state championship on their road to redemption for seniors lead the charge.
“Since I joined and a bunch of my other senior friends joined, we’ve been like, we stuck together. We almost create like a legacy. Legacy we’ve made. We haven’t. We’ve been stuck together. We played doubles together every single year. It’s just been it’s been awesome. Well, last year, you know, we we went so far, we got all the way to the finals and it was it was just a great time and even though we came up short, we knew this year that we had to work harder to get back, get back on the court and just get back to grinding, to get back to state final.”
The Panthers start their postseason run on Tuesday.
