Meet Two South Carolina Girls Running The World Of BMX
ROCK HILL, S.C. – Evelyn Nearpass and Kendall Finley are separated by 5 years in age, but share a passion for BMX racing.
Not only have they beat the boys, Evelyn and Kendall have made their presence known on BMX tracks all over the country from right here in Rock Hill, where the world championships were held this year to hopefully Copenhagen for next years championships. Evelyn’s dad, Brian, knows just how important this sport is to the girls and himself.
Many might say, “It is just bike racing” need to think again according to Nearpass and Finley.
“It is really hard, if you really really want to be good and if you are training every day, I would say it is pretty tough,” said Kendall.
“I like to practice more because it makes me more confident,” stated Evelyn.
