DAYTONA BEACH, FL. – The opening weekend of the 2025 NASCAR season has come and gone and William Byron made history. The 67th running of the Daytona 500 was run on Sunday and William Byron of Hendrick Motorsports avoided all the last minute mayhem to win the Great American Race. He became the 5th driver in NASCAR history to win back to back 500’s. It was the 10th 500 win for Hendrick Motorsports.
