The West Charlotte Lions are looking to build off a 2024 State Championship on the gridiron

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The West Charlotte Lions enter the 2025 high school football season with a ton of confidence. The Lions, lead by Head Coach Sam Greiner, won the 2024 3A State Championship last fall. This season, it is a new adventure for the team as they will be playing with the 8A classification and in one of the hardest conferences in the state of North Carolina. WCCB’s Sports Anchor, Jack Taylor, talked with the coach and a few players about the upcoming gridiron season.
