CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Ladies quarterfinals of the Big South Conference Tournament were held on March 2nd at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte. Four teams advanced to Saturday’s semifinals: Gardner-Webb, Radford, High Point, and Campbell.
Number 1 seed Gardner-Webb beat the 8th seed UNC-Asheville by 24 points.
Radford needed a last second shot by freshman Ashlyn Traylor to defeat Presbyterian 69-68.
Number 2 seed High Point squeezed by number 7 seed USC-Upstate 50-43.
In the nightcap, Campbell defeated Longwood 62-43.
In the semi-finals:
Gardner-Webb will take on Radford at 6pm on March 4th.
Campbell will face High Point at 8pm on March 4th.
