Former Carolina Panther Serves At The Levine Children’s Hospital
A special event happened Wednesday morning, Full of Love at the Levine Children’s Congenital Heart Center. Former Carolina Panther Greg Olsen made a special gift presentation. Every year his “Heartest Yard” Foundation and Showmars restaurants team up for a 5-k. Wednesday morning, Olsen presented the center with a check for ninety two thousand dollars. The race is an event many look forward to every year.
It’s one of many events that we do on our calendar, one of many ways that we try to raise money for the hardest yard program here, serving Levine Children’s Hospital. It’s really our community day. It’s our day of families. It’s our day of congenital heart patients and their families and their t shirts and their run groups coming out all together,” said Olsen
Olsen started the Heartest Yard after one of his son’s was diagnosed with a serious heart condition.
