CHARLOTTE, N.C. – There was a lot of action at the Bojangles Coliseum on Saturday, March 6, 2023, filled with men’s and women’s semifinal action.
Number four University of South Carolina – Upstate could not complete the upset against the guys from University of North Carolina – Asheville. The Bulldogs win 66 to 62.
Campbell University came in to the tournament as the seventh seed. In true March Madness fashion they take down number three Radford University 72-71.
In the Women’s bracket the Gardner-Webb Running Bulldogs sit at the top seed, looking to continue their win streak. Their season was nearly cut short as Radford lets for the entire game, but the Running Bulldogs tied things up to force overtime. With the extra time and momentum, Gardner-Webb pulled ahead 69-61.

In the final game of the night, number two High Point University took on number three Campbell. It was a close game throughout, but in the end the Panthers came out on top by a score of 69-50.
